3.2.2.1 the Catholic Boles living at Ballysheehan in the 1901 and 1911 censuses indicate that possibly there was a relation of John's who is not mentioned in the Boles family history, perhaps as he married a Catholic woman; he could be the source of the Catholic Boles line in this area; a little later on there was a John Boles, born about 1820, who married a Catherine Leahy (or Lee or Lyhane) and baptized five children in the Catholic church at Banteer between 1847 and 1858; the 1901 and 1911 censuses list those children living together at house #3 in Ballysheehan along with a cousin Denis Leahane; see The Catholic Boles Line in the Mallow Area)
