The August 1920 edition of The Nationalist has a sale notice for Mr. Alexander Boles' residence at Levally Farm, Rathdowney, Queen's county. ref.

This seems totally unconnected to this family so far but a John Boles was baptized in the Police Barracks in Abbeyleix to parents John Boles and Anastasia Spellesey on Aug. 16, 1841 (RC)

See The Bowles of Leitrim for more information on Alexander's origins.
